Rates
From 1 August 2010
Hourly Rate. £30 for one hour, £20 for the following hours
For short term work such as putting up shelves and hanging some pictures, I charge by the hour. For the first hour I charge £30 then £20 for every following hour. If I work for 30 mins the fee will still be for the full hour’s rate of £30. For small jobs I will give you a free and accurate quote over the phone and will expect payment on the same day in Cash or Cheque with an approved bankers card. I will provide a receipt and all receipts for any materials/hardware.
Day rate. £140 for a daily rate, making you a saving
I charge £140 for a daily rate saving you £10 if you book me for the whole day of 7.5 hours. During a day I am able to get a wide variety of jobs done in and outside the house. Payment for a full days work must be made at the end of the job in Cash or Cheque. I will provide a receipt and all receipts for any materials/hardware.
Longer Term Work Rate. A free full itemised quote and agreement
If you require longer term work then I will come and meet with you for a no obligation quote. We can then talk through ideas and what you would like. I will then provide you with a formal quotation with a breakdown of costs and dates that I can complete the work. Once you sign this and return it to me, this confirms your booking and forms a formal agreement between us both. This may be done via a confirmation email or by post. Payment may be staggered for larger jobs so that I can purchase materials and the full amount will be payable by cash or cheque 7 days after the job is completed.
Materials. The option to use reclaimed wood and recycled materials
Materials that are required for any work that I do not have in stock will have to be sourced and purchased before work can commence. This time is chargeable and will be included in the final bill along with a breakdown of materials.
Insurance and Enhanced Criminal Records Check. Peace of mind
I am a professional and have full Public Liability insurance. I also have a clear enchanced Criminal Records Bureau Check which states I have no criminal convictions of any type.
